A scene from my currently writing novel, just for fun or a cover candidate

The creatures around the fire are Bebus, mythological spirits from my village (their original name is bebaung, or thats what the villager call it) My uncle had seen one of them, playing around in the rice field with a local dog. He makes me sure that Bebaung harm no people, they are just spirits of the forest. Indeed, my uncle house is located near the forest and river, I need about one hour walking to reach there. Such a beautiful place, there are a really great bamboo forest and rice fields. Its rather creepy at night, though.
